Public Discourse
Faced with the reality in which positions too quickly become dogma, and in which disagreement immediately turns into a shouting match, we at Alma seek to facilitate in-depth discussions, based on the approach that the search for truth requires not only independent thinking, but equally listening and dialogue. Each Public Discourse session in Alma, therefore, brings together two prominent Israeli intellectuals, who present opposing positions on a timely issue within the Israeli public agenda.
